Message I learned finally awhile ago you dont drop the clutch... can launch much better if you slip it. Ease off on the clutch pedal. Dropping it usually results in wheelhop then no traction.

From my experience you gotta just go there and practice. As for rpms ect you want to be shifting right before your car starts to drop in power. I always though on zs it was 6700rpms or so but each car is different. No need to rev to 8krpms if you cars drops power at 7k.

As for rpms with launching also depends on your cars suspension and when it makes tq, what tires ect... best thing to IMO is go have some fun on some street tires and practice. Each car will have its differences. That way you will be used to holding onto the car when its spinning and knowing if you need to let off when spinning ect. With good tires pretty sure its necessary to let off when spinning.

Im far from a pro though.
